An armed robbery suspect that tied up the employees of the Hot Wok in Sylvester has been arrested.
Police officials say that about 8:30 p.m Monday, a black male, wearing all black, his face covered, and armed with a small framed handgun, entered the Hot Wok restaurant at 105 East Franklin Street in Sylvester.
The man then tied up the two store employees and robbed the store.
Upon fleeing, four members of the Sylvester Police Department boxed the man into a small wooded area and apprehended him.
The suspect was identified as Wendell Carl Thomas , aka. "Little Dooly." He has been charged with armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Police say that Thomas committed an Armed Robbery of the Dairy Queen in Sylvester on July 30, 2006 and was incarcerated in the Georgia prison system until July 8, 2013.
