A SWAT team raid on an Albany home results in the arrest of a person of interest in Tuesday's shooting in Putney.
Kawaski Bush was taken into custody this afternoon at 703 16th Avenue.
Agents from the Albany Drug Unit had been watching the home at the request of Dougherty County police.
Officers raided the home based on reports that Bush had vowed never to return to prison.
"About four o'clock we made the decision to use SWAT to go in there and get him because of his past and arrest him on some existing warrants," said Major Bill Berry of the Albany Drug Unit.
Bush was not armed and no weapons were found.
Bush's girlfriend and another young man were also taken into custody.
