Emergency officials responded to a residential structure fire Thursday morning located in the 600 block of Monroe.
According to the Albany Police Department, the homeowners of the residence moved out yesterday and all utilities were turned off.
The Albany Fire Department says that the fire appears to have started in the living room but an investigation will be done to find the exact cause.
The arson investigator has been called to the scene for the investigation.
No injuries resulted from this fire.
The Albany Police Department has the 600 block of Monroe blocked off so the investigation can be conducted. Motorists are urged to find an alternate route.
