Suspended Worth County sheriff indicted on previous school search related charges
Suspended Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby was indicted on 16 charges from last December, including 14 counts of influencing a witness.
On Monday, these warrants were taken to the Worth County Grand Jury, and they ruled it as a true bill. That means there is probable cause to move this case forward.
He was indicted for 14 counts of influencing a witness, one count of obstruction of an office and one count of violation of oath of office.
These charges are in connection to the improper search at Worth County High School last April.
