The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who allegedly used a stolen vehicle as collateral for his bond to be released from being jailed on another theft charge.
Officials with the Sheriff's Office say 26-year-old Christopher Elijah Jones was arrested on July 16th for theft by receiving stolen property and providing false information to a police officer after he was caught driving a stolen four-wheeler to a pawn shop.
Once in jail, Jones used another ATV as collateral and was released, but officials realized the identification numbers had been filed off and that vehicle was also stolen.
Police are now looking for Jones who faces another theft charge and criminal use of an article with an altered identification.
