Survivors rally to prepare for Relay for Life

Survivors rallied together on Friday to prepare for next week's Relay for Life walk

Dozens of people gathered at the Porterfield United Methodist Church for a Relay for Life survivor dinner on Friday.

The event featured food, live music and a special recognition of both the youngest and oldest survivors.

Albany Technical College President Dr. Anthony Parker also made a special appearance to talk about his own battle with cancer to rally all of the survivors together for the big walk next week.

The event starts at 6 p.m. on April 19th at Darton College and runs until 6 a.m. the next day.
