Ready or not we are about to be supermooned again for the 4th time this year.
Sunday's full moon may appear slightly larger than normal.
The full moon on August 10, 2014, will present the closest supermoon of the year when the moon will be only 221,765 miles away.
Sunday's supermoon will be at perigee and will be more than 30,000 miles closer than when it reaches apogee, its furthest point from Earth.
Moon Rise on Sunday is at 8:17 pm and may be a little tough to see as overcast skies are in the forecast for early evening but you may get a glimpse later in the overnight.
As with all full moon's the oceans tides will be enhanced and since Sunday the moon will be closer to the earth the tides could slightly higher.
The next supermoon of 2014 will be on September 9th.
