Sunlight used to fuel cars

An alternative fuel source with multiple purposes comes from sunlight.
Sunlight is first collected in the solar panels.
Through the photovoltaic effect, it is turned into direct current power which is then converted into alternate current power and fed into a grid or into the load of a car.
Currently, solar is clean, unlimited, independent and free.
Using solar to charge your electric vehicle isn't just smart, it's a sound, long term financial decision.
Hannah Solar Vice President of Marketing Development, Anthony Coker, says that "it's better than importing oil and that's what we're using right now mostly for our cars, so to offset some of that oil that we're importing with a local resource available here in Georgia is a great thing."
Considered a safe and secure fuel source, the best part of solar energy is that it's going to be there every year. It may go away at night, but it comes back again every day.
