Subway shooting surveillance video released

Dougherty Co. police are looking to identify this suspect from the Subway shooting on March 8 / DCP

Surveillance video from last week's shooting at a local Subway at Liberty Expressway and Williamsburg has been released.

Dougherty County Police say the suspect is still on the loose and is armed and dangerous. Investigators say he may hit up another store. Detective Stewart Williamson says if he does enter your store, comply and call DCP with as best of a description as you can get.

They say anyone that recognizes him or saw him there last Thursday, March 8, between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at the Liberty Expressway Subway should call Dougherty County Police. Investigators say he was wearing blue plaid pants, a green shirt and a ski mask; they say he may have short hair and did have a .25 semi automatic caliber handgun.

"We don't know the motive. We don't know if it was a botched robbery or if it actually was an intent to kill her (the employee). Either way, aggravated assault was committed inside the building. As soon as the door opened he fired one shot at her," says Williamson.

DCP says they are following tips they received already but are looking for more to help build a case and find him. They say a reward may be available for a tip leading to his arrest.
