String of burglary suspects indicted for slew of crimes
Six men have been indicted by a grand jury in connection to a string of burglaries that happened back in May.
Anthony Dawson, Nicholas Davis and R.L. Davis, are indicted on burglary charges along with Curtis Broner and Albert Wilson.
Police believe the suspects broke into the Stop 'N' Shop and stole 40 inactive lottery tickets before getting away.
Just an hour after that incident, the Liberty Gas station on Gillionville Road was broken into. The thieves allegedly stole a carton of cigarettes.
After a chase, police finally caught up with the suspects.
22-year-old Kevin Robinson has also been charged for false report of a crime in connection to this case.
At this time no trial date has been set.
In a separate case, a Dougherty County man has been indicted for burglary and theft.
Willie James Hutto is facing eight charges in connection to a string of church burglaries.
Dougherty County Police say Hutto broke into churches on Moultrie Road, Branch Road and Sylvester Road back in April.
The suspect allegedly took some coins and a safe. He was arrested back in May for the crimes.
