      Storms crush Albany State sign

Campus police put caution tape around the sign Sunday morning

Southwest Georgia is cleaning up from strong overnight thunderstorms.

The storm early Sunday morning left leaves and branches on the roads, but Albany State University is dealing with much bigger damage. The storm knocked down the main campus LED sign on Radium Springs Road.

Campus police put caution tape around the sign Sunday morning. No word on how much the sign costs.
