Stabbing suspects make a plea in court

      A man and woman indicted for murder have entered into a not guilty plea in a Dougherty County court.

      During a Monday court appearance, Tara Lee Harrell and Louis Floyd, Jr. plead not guilty to charges connected to a stabbing at the Dollar Inn motel in North Albany.

      Back in August of last year, Albany police responded the motel where they found William Morgan Jackson stabbed inside a room.

      The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

      Both Floyd and Harrell are charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
