Chehaw recently unveiled a new critter to their collection.

Bogart, the 2-year-old camel has come to Southwest Georgia from the Cincinnati Zoo.

In order to get Bogart to Chehaw, Geico agreed to sponsor the cost of his travel. In this sponsorship, a sign will be put up in the park at the exhibit. The monetary cost of every day responsibilities for food and maintenance is paid by Chehaw.

Executive Director Doug Porter tells FOX 31 that sponsorships are something that has been done at Chehaw for a number of years but now they're trying to take a more aggressive approach.

Porter adds, "everyone's talking about the Geico camel and the hump day angle so it is neat to be able to tie in the funny commercial".
