Southwest Georgia students turn out for poetry contest

More than 150 students from 15 counties entered a poem in Darton State College's 13th Annual Poetry Contest for junior and senior high school students from across Southwest Georgia.

Rhett Ragan, of Randolph Southern School, won first place in the senior division while Khashaad Johnson of Randolph Southern School took first place in the Junior Division.

As the winner in the senior division, Ragan has been awarded a full tuition scholarship for the 2013 fall semester.
