Southwest Georgia soaks up the sun

Mother Nature is bringing Southwest Georgia a magnificent week of weather.
To start off the week, a very dry air mass will be in place. Temperatures will start off cool for Monday morning but will quickly warm-up after sunrise. The day will feature plenty of sunshine and a temperature topping off in the upper 70s.
The absence of clouds through the overnight will allow temperatures to drop in the upper 40s or lower 50s. Another quick warm-up is expected for Tuesday with a high temperature near 82 degrees. More clouds look to push into the area Tuesday night.
A dominating high pressure stays in place for the middle of the week. This keeps dry air in place, With the heating during the day, some afternoon showers or storms can't be ruled out. Wednesday looks to warm up into the upper 80s.
More clouds continue to push into Southwest Georgia on Thursday and look to stick around to end out the week. Heating during the day brings the chance for scattered showers or thunderstorms. Temperatures plateau near 85 degrees with overnight lows dropping into the 50s.
The weekend looks good aside from a couple of scattered showers. Temperatures will be warm, but seasonable, in the upper 80s.
