Southwest Georgia kids cope with death

Eryn's mother, who raised she and her sister until Eryn was six years old, died this past February

Camp Good Grief and Journey are two camps being held by Albany Community Hospice to allow children and teens to grow and grieve together over their losses of loved ones.

A person who's grown much more comfortable talking about her mother's death, is Albany High student, Eryn Harper.

Eryn's mother, who raised she and her sister until Eryn was six years old, died this past February. Eryn was excited when she heard about this camp because she could release some of her hidden emotions.

"We weren't really talking to anybody about our feelings or what was going on so we kept it inside, but I think here, it could be a good environment for us," said Harper.
