Discovery's path was set to fly over parts of Southwest Georgia

911 Dispatchers logged more than a dozen calls from residents concerned about a loud "boom" that was heard in their neighborhoods. Law enforcement officials claim to have had no incidents with reported "noises" in the area. Water, Gas and Light officials say a transformer blew early Tuesday morning but the noise could only be heard by people in the immediate area.
