The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office has made two arrests after investigating burglaries that occurred on Briggston Road and Johnson Road South.

Sherriff's officials say that in both burglaries, the home owner had recently moved and left items such appliances, tools, and toys with the intent to retrieve them later.

Once the owners left, that is when the suspects would strike.

Investigators were able to locate some of the items being sold on social media websites to unknowing buyers. However, some of the items have been recovered.

Sheriff's officials say that Christopher Pollette and Emanuel Trevino-Vazquez have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of burglary in connection with this investigation and are currently in the Lowndes County Jail.

Sheriff Prine stressed that this investigation is on-going and investigators are working to locate additional property that was stolen. If anyone has recently purchased items from Pollette or Trevino-Vazquez they are encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at {229} 671-2950.
