Single mother and children in need of donations after fire
A Douglas woman says she and her three children need help after they lost everything they own to a fire January 6.
The home Tasha Lawson was renting went up in flames and the home was deemed a "total loss" by fire officials.
Lawson is a single mother with five children, three of whom live with her. She says two of her children are in need of a bed to sleep on as well as clothes.
The children are two, nine, and 13 years old. She says they are currently staying at another place provided by her landlord.
Anyone who wishes to donate items to the family can contact Lawson at (912) 347-2308 or drop donations off at the Douglas Fire Department.
