Sidewalks and bookshelves getting a makeover
The Dougherty County Central Library continues with renovations Wednesday.
Library Director Pauline Abidde tells FOX 31 that workers are currently working on both the inside and outside of the building.
Windows will soon be taken out of the building and replaced.
Sidewalks in the 300 block of Pine Avenue and the 100 block of Jackson Street will be closed until the library is completed.
The project is where it needs to be and is scheduled to be competed in July.
Abidde adds that when everything is finished, it will take a couple of months to get furniture and fixtures installed.
