Shooting suspect indicted by grand jury
An aggravated assault suspect has been indicted by a grand jury in connection to a shooting that happened back in January.
Lenall Frazier is indicted on multiple counts of aggravated assault.
Police say he shot two people in the 500 block of Cotton Avenue before leaving the scene.
"No trial date is set at this point. The process is just getting started," said Greg Edwards, Dougherty County District Attorney.
The suspect will be presented with the charges at an arraignment. At that point he can enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. If Frazier takes a plea of not guilty then the matter will be set for a trial by the court.
At the time of the shooting, Frazier was out on parole for another shooting that happened back in 2011 at the Sports Zone Bar and Grill.
