The Worth County Board of Commissioners is moving forward to build a bigger evidence locker for the Worth County Sheriff's Office after a proposal by Sheriff Jeff Hobby.

The locker and fence to go around the building is estimated to cost over $30,000. The board is moving forward to inspect the cost by January 16th, 2014.

Additionally, Sheriff Hobby proposed two positions for his office; a new clerk and a sex offender deputy. He adds right now he has a clerk registering sex offenders, and the new position he wants would have to go the homes of the registered sex offenders to complete protocol.

The board agreed to look into finances to the cover those positions, however Sheriff Hobby predicts he won't get the funding.
