Hundreds of students are well equipped for the new school year.
The Back-To-School Bash was Thursday afternoon from noon until 3 p.m. at Words of Restoration Church.
The church partnered with the Albany Fire Department, the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office, and the Boys and Girls Club just to name a few.
A meal and back packs were given out and people could sign up for free cell phones.
"We have had at least 200 families to receive school supplies," Event Coordinator Latasha Clark said. "We have given them lunch, we have given them popcorn. We have just had a great time today."
Classes start Monday for students in Dougherty County.
