School is out for many students but officials are still working to make sure children get a nutritious meal.
Students will still be served at six different sites in Coffee County.
They'll serve breakfast and lunch.
School officials say some children may go without if these meals aren't offered.
"Sometimes these kids don't have an opportunity to get a well-balanced meal so this gives them that opportunity to do so," said Terrell Jacobs, Douglas City Manager.
Coffee County feeding starts on June 2nd.
Tift County's feeding program will start May 27th.
