Before you hit the road for the Labor Day holiday weekend, now is the time to check and re-check your vehicle.
Steve Bartlett owner of Steve Satex Transmission says the number one thing people need to check is all the fluids in your car, that included windshield wiper fluids, and brake fluids.
Secondly, he adds that you should never ignore your check engine light. If it has been on for quite a while then something is wrong and you should not travel.
Finally, he says make sure your tire pressure is good.
Bartlett says that is really important because, "when's its hot outside and you have low tires the heat will make them expand and blow which can cause some major consequences." He adds that you should also be up to date on your oil changes.
