Runners are making their way to the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Albany for packet pick-up for Saturday's big race.
Participants can go inside and get their number, bag and t-shirt as well as shop for some items they might need during the race like energy bars, sneakers and more.
Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau Manager Rashelle Beasley says as of 8 p.m. on Friday evening, more than 1,400 runners have checked in, which is more than the total number of people who finished the race last year.
Beasley says the Snicker's Marathon is a huge event for Albany because it is bringing in people from 36 states as well as from outside of the country to our area.
While here, those visitors tour Albany and help the economy by buying food, souvenirs and more.
Beasley says if you didn't get a chance to pick up your information on Friday, organizers will be signing people in from 5:30 a.m. until the race starts at 7 a.m.
