      Health inspectors are keeping a close eye out for hygiene violations - things like handling food and drinks properly and correct hand washing procedures. If these violations are allowed to go on without being corrected, customers could possibly get sick.

      Lowest Scores:

      Krystal, 1605 N. Slappey Blvd., Albany - Grade: 78

      According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, any score below 70 is considered unsanitary.

      During the inspection, the health inspector docked points for the used grease disposal bin lid and sliding door of the dumpster being open when the containers weren't actively being used.

      The mop sink was clogged.

      The handwashing sink was blocked and prevented proper handwashing from occuring. The person in charge will put in a work order to repair the sink and moved the items.

      The sanitizer dispensing machine didn't have the right concentration and wiping clothes were not stored in the sanitizer solution.

      Thermometers in the freezer units were broken.

      Lastly, Krystal was cited for raw eggs and cheese slices being stored in the breakfast prep station above forty-one degrees Fahrenheit.

      Here the health inspector took off points for the person in charge not beign able to state the employee health policy.

      The restroom needed to be repaired.

      The walk-in freezer door handle needed to be repaired as well. Cups were being used as a food scoop.

      Lastly, Wing Dixie and Deli was cited for food not being held at the proper temperature.
