      Health inspectors are keeping a close eye out for hygiene violations - things like handling food and drinks properly and correct hand washing procedures. If these violations are allowed to go on without being corrected, customers could possibly get sick.

      Chicken N A Box, 803 W. Broad Ave., Albany - Grade: 87

      According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, any score below 70 is considered unsanitary.

      During the inspection, the health inspector observed potentially hazardous food being stored in a temperature greater than forty-one degrees Fahrenheit. The person-in-charge placed the food on ice and was advised to get the cooler serviced.

      Chicken N A Box was also cited for having food past it's marked expiration date. Proper date marking procedures were discussed.

      McDonald's, 506 1st Avenue SE, Moultrie - Grade: 88

      Here the health inspector observed that no inspection reports were posted in the drive thru windows.

      This facility was closed on August 14th due to raw sewage on the floor in the lobby. Once the problem was resolved, repaired and the facility was sanitized the doors were re-opened.

      The final violation was due to flies in the kitchen and a live roach seen in the food preparation and cooking area.

      Pizza Quick Inc., 191 S. Virginia Avenue, Tifton - Grade: 89 Here the health inspector took off points for there not being a person certified or properly trained.

      The pizza dough maker was dirty and the lid needs to be repaired or replaced.

      There was no handwashing sign at the employee handsink.

      There was a dirty toilet and the stall door needs to be repaired in the employee restroom.

      Pizza Quick was also cited for the walk-in cooler shelving and gaskets being dirty.
