On April 19th, Carol Hollomon sadly passed away.

Hollomon spent her adult life fighting and caring for kids with mental disabilities, even creating Megan's House, a place that provides respite care for families.

Hollomon leaves behind a husband but also leaves behind a legacy.

Dawn Hall who has two children who suffer from a severe form of autism says, "she knew that we didn't have a whole lot of help to get to get out and I would need a second person to get out with the wheel chairs she would say well dawn lets go do this at the mall, I'll go with you and I'll push one of the children."

Her husband, Wayne Holloman says, "Carol would stop in the mall and just see and walk up to them and start talking to them and her thought was they're just as human as everybody else."
