RE/MAX host balloon event for Children's Miracle Network
ALBANY, Ga. —
Children with health issues have access to more care to treat their needs because of a fundraiser in Albany.
On Thursday, RE/MAX of Albany hosted their first balloon event to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.
There was food, a dunking booth, music and other fun activities.
This year’s miracle family was there as well. Laura Jones said her son, Bennett Jones, would not be here today without the support and donations from people in the community.
“I just know where the money goes,” Jones said. “We have living proof in our house of where the money goes. It’s just a wonderful organization.”
The goal was to raise at least $5,000, and the money does stay in Albany.
