Relay for Life fundraiser draws many Southwest Georgians

Organizers want to raise about $150,000

The 17th annual Relay for Life fundraiser to help fight cancer took place at Darton College tonight.

Many laced up their tennis shoes to walk for a good cause. Organizers say they're expecting close to 3,000 people to turn out. They want to raise about $150,000 dollars. The event lasts from 7 p.m. Friday night until 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

Aside from walking, people played games, ate food, and listened to music.
