Health information at your favorite southwest Georgia restaurant is now just a click away.
Up-to-the-minute restaurant inspection scores are now available on the health district web site. Before this, health officials say it took days even weeks to post the scores. The scores go directly from the health inspector's laptop to the web.
"You do hear of cases of e. coli or salmonella. It's a concern," said Public Health Information Officer Carolyn Maschke. "We try to be vigilant, but we want the public also to have the most up to date information that's available."
