Multiple accidents have occurred along the Liberty Expressway Sunday evening due to slick conditions on roadways.
Within a stretch of ten miles, officers have been responding to vehicles overturned and crashing into trees and guardrails.
A white, Ford F150 drove off the road, flipped and crashed into a tree. The driver was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Another car, containing two passengers, went off the road and flipped twice before landing on its' roof. The driver experienced minor injuries and was taken to Phoebe for treatment.
A Dougherty County Police officer responding to one of the accidents, spun out on the wet roadways, and went into a tree. The officer reported no injuries.
Drivers should slow down and use caution while on the roadways.
