Radium Springs Elementary teacher goes viral for Black History Month inspired doors
ALBANY, Ga. —
A Radium Springs Elementary School art teacher went viral for her Black History Month inspiration.
Nakimer Daniels decided to take door decorations to the next level for Black History Month.
She posted a video and pictures online and within two days, she got more than two million views and 66,000 shares.
The door has children with afros and pictures of influential people from past and recent history. The goal is to inspire all of her students.
"I decided to do a boy and a girl to represent the culture and the month we are in,” Daniels said. “My children loved it. They were like 'Ms. Daniels, is that me?' It's all of you guys."
She’s challenging other teachers to go above and beyond to inspire their students.
