Public Health Department reminder about cancer prevention services
All Southwest Georgia Health Departments are offering breast and cervical cancer prevention services to help reduce the impact it can have on a woman's life.
The Georgia Breast and Cervical Cancer Program includes services such as clinical breast examinations, mammograms, pap test, and HPV test.
According to experts, the program can help women catch a problem that may have been overlooked or not seen before.
These services will be free to qualified women between the ages of 21 to 64.
Women should call their local health department to schedule an appointment.
