      Projects to improve Leesburg water

      There will be new eight inch lines down U.S. Highway 19. / File
      According to the Albany Herald the city of Leesburg will be seeing improvements soon to their water system transmission lines.

      There will be new eight inch lines down U.S. Highway 19 that connect to the well on Starksville Road, traveling down Second Street, then Old Smithville Road, and connecting to the proposed new water tower. Construction should begin sometime in 2014.

      The project is said to cost near $692,0000.
