The President of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation visited Albany on Tuesday, looking to educate citizens about the importance of it's historic buildings. With new legislation being passed this week, Mark McDonald says he was excited to speak on it.
"The State of Georgia has seen the wisdom of creating a lot of financial incentives for restoring historic buildins and so I wanted to share the good news with the people that those programs are in existance." Said McDonald.
With multiple buildings being renovated around Albany, McDonald was encouraged to see the amount of community involvement in the process. Check in on www.mysouthwestga.com for updates on the renovations taking place.
