Tift County school officials and police weren't the only ones in town inconvenienced by the prank bomb threat that evacuated schools Tuesday.
After parents got word of the bomb threat, they began calling into 911 for information.
Officials say that move by dozens of parents tied up the emergency phone lines.
"Legally we can't give out any information on any calls even if it's happening at the time," said Christine Day, E-911 Assistant Director.
Christine Day says the school board would be able to provide more information in these types of cases.
