Police smoke-out teen thieves

Two juveniles are facing 2nd degree burglary charges after allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars worth of cigarettes.

Both suspects are only 13-years-old.

Albany police say around 5:24 a.m. Monday morning the teens broke out the front window of the Murphy USA gas station located at 252 Cordele Road.

After entering the facility, the suspects swiped 18 cartons of cigarettes and some cash before taking off.

Police later caught up with the criminals.

One is being held in the Regional Youth Detention Center, while the other has been released to parents until his court date.
