      Police search for rollover accident suspect

      UPDATED (10:45 PM):

      Albany police confirm that two vehicles were traveling north when the driver of a white truck merged over into another lane parallel to the one traveling in.

      The white truck struck the driver's side door of the Taurus in the next lane, causing it to overturn in a yard.

      Charges are pending against the driver of the white truck who fled the scene.

      Hall, driver of the Taurus, is charged with driving on a suspended license.

      No major injuries have been reported.

      Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS.

      Police, firefighters and EMS responded to a rollover accident in the 3600 block of Newton Road late Sunday night.

      Albany police confirm that two vehicles, a Ford truck and a red, Ford Taurus, were involved.

      As a result of the collision, the Taurus, driven by 52-year-old Joe Hall, turned over.

      At least one person was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.

      Police are still investigating.
