      Police search for house burglar

      Update 8/24/14:

      Dougherty County Police have identified and obtained arrest warrants on Jason Daniel Semrau for the burglary on Oakwood Street. As of Monday afternoon, police say he's not yet in custody.

      Original Story:

      The Dougherty County Police Department is looking for a man who broke into a home in the 400 block of Oakwood Street Monday.

      A white male believed to be in his middle to upper 30's was seen on surveillance video breaking into a window around 1:30 in the afternoon.

      Police say the suspect spent ten minutes on the property and stole a laptop, playstation, firearm and money.

      Dougherty County Police Detective Tamiko Whitlock says, "he's very comfortable. People in that neighborhood need to be cautious and look around. Be aware of your surrounding and if you see the vehicle don't approach him, just get the tag number."

      The suspect is driving a grey, Ford F150.
