The Dougherty County Police Department is looking for three suspects who may be responsible for the death of a seven-month-old pit bulldog.
Investigators were called to the 2500 block of Imperial Street on Monday night after the homeowner found her pit bulldog puppy dead and hanging from a fence in her backyard. Police say the homeowner believes that three juveniles killed the dog. The woman claims she saw the juveniles throwing rocks at the dog and antagonizing it earlier in the day. Police Captain Jimmy Sexton says they're still looking into the case to see whether it was possible for the dog to attach itself to the fence.
