Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital held their 20th annual Paver Dedication Ceremony Thursday morning.

The project gives people a chance to pay tribute to the birth of a new baby, give thanks to a friend, or memorialize a loved one by engraving their name on a brick.

Members of the Trauma Unit even came together to purchase a paver in honor of a patient that passed away.

"Just to keep their spirit alive and keep their memory alive and let the families know they all though they may not be here physically, spiritually they're still a part of the family," said Trauma Program Coordinator Brandi Holton.

With over 2,000 bricks in the pathway, Phoebe now has a "Paver Finder" to help families locate their bricks.
