Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital invited Albany Mall shoppers to take some time out their day and get a free blood pressure screening.
"We've been doing this for the past five years. We have about seven stations at every entrance and exit in the mall. We try to set up where most of the people are and we have nurses at each station," said Darrell Sabb of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
"I knew my diet was a little irregular with my high sodium; I wanted to have it monitored. Coming in here I wasn't aware or know if it was bored line or if it was above or below," said shopper Justin Hughes.
This was an opportunity for nurses and staff to have talk with the public about everything that can be affected by blood pressure.
Patricia Swain, an employee at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital said that "our body is our temple and we need to take care of it".
