Performing arts camp help kids come out of their shell
On Friday, students in the Performing Arts Camp participated in a recital at Radium Middle School where they danced, sang, and acted out scenes.
The camp is a summer program that's designed to provide middle school students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in singing, theatre, and dance.
Founder Chianti Davis says, "the arts is so important because it teaches kids how to come out of their shell and do things they would never do before."
Davis adds that in the past two years that the camp has been running, they've enrolled between 40 to 50 students.
