Pedestrian killed in morning accident
Officials confirm the man killed after he was hit crossing Clark Avenue Friday morning was 57-year-old Theodore Williams.
Williams was trying to walk across the road from the Pilot Store when a Silver Honda Civic traveling Westbound hit him.
He was later pronounced dead and officials say charges are pending in the ongoing investigation for the driver.
At approximately 5:35 a.m., a silver Honda traveling west on Clark Avenue, near the Pilot, struck a black male who was walking across the street.
The pedestrian has been pronounced deceased at the scene.
Albany Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating this case.
