The Georgia Peanut Commission Board gathered in Tifton Wednesday to hear their annual research report.

They talked about all of the projects they sponsored in 2013 and the projects they're looking to sponsor in 2014.

One of the projects they recently sponsored was described by board member Donald Chase as "early season leaf spot control. In the past couple of years several of the scientists have been working on a thing that could really change how we manage white mold in the early season."

Chase said having the report given to them helps them understand where they spent their money and where their money should go in the future.
