During the Tuesday meeting, the board also agreed to hire a firm to finalize plans on a new radio communication system.
It's on this board to use the TUSA Consulting firm because they are the experts on radio systems and we want to know we're going to get the best bang for our buck, said Lee County Commission Chairman Ed Duffy.
More than $1 million will be used on the new radio system.
