Party for a cause at Hurricane Hoedown
Fritz Farm in Cordele is hosting Hurricane Hoedown to benefit first responders that were injured during Hurricane Harvey and Irma.
A ticket to the event is $50. All the proceeds will go to first responders impacted by the recent hurricanes.
The event will include craft beer, all-you-can-eat burgers and brats, music and the Georgia-Tennessee game.
Amy Brown, owner of Fritz Farm, says,"Our hearts broke when we saw Harvey and Irma came, and you can't sit around and do nothing... you can't... Everybody can help."
Brown says you can help by donating anything from $1 to a loaf of bread to a bottle of water.
Fritz Farm is partnering with the Crisp County Sheriff's Office to put on the event.
The event will take place next weekend and will start at 6:30.
