Parents of Albany private school students get unsettling email
Neither the 15-year-old child, nor the juvenile with the knife is a student of Deerfield Windsor, nor do they have any connection with the school.
Parents of students at an Albany private school received some unsettling news on Thursday.
FOX 31 has obtained a copy of an email from Deerfield Windsor Headmaster Dave Davies.
The email describes an incident that allegedly took place just after 4:00 Thursday afternoon.
It says an unknown juvenile armed with a knife chased a 15-year-old through the school parking lot.
The student escaped by running into the school cafeteria.
No one was hurt but the school was placed in lockdown.
Albany police are investigating.
